By using the FirmFox API ("the service") you agree to these terms.

1. The service

FirmFox provides programmatic access to UK company information sourced from public official registers (Companies House) and VAT validation (HM Revenue & Customs). Access is provided primarily via the RapidAPI marketplace under the plan you subscribe to.

2. Acceptable use

Do not exceed the rate limits or quota of your plan.
Do not attempt to bypass authentication or resell raw access without agreement.
Use the data lawfully and in line with the Open Government Licence and applicable law (including UK GDPR).

3. Data accuracy

Data is provided "as is" and reflects what the official source returns. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness or availability, and the service should not be the sole basis for legal or financial decisions.

4. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, source-provider outages or limits may affect availability.

5. Attribution

Company data is © Crown copyright, reused under the Open Government Licence. FirmFox is an independent service, not affiliated with Companies House or HMRC.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirmFox is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
